Saw a similar but not exactly the same error message about Ubuntu in forum so I checked my Java Preferences and I'm pointing to the 64 bit Java by default. Im able to open Xclock and exported the DISPLAY (also tried with setting as the environment variable) before launching the set up. I also tried with xhost + and xhost ip but that didnt work either. I tried with XManager and it failed every time with same error. I have done and all they keep doing is refering me to Acer? Everything was working fine on this computer, then suddenly the windows installer would not work, giving the error 1719? Windows Vista was pre loaded on the machine, when I bought it seconhand, it is a genuine copy of Vista Home Basic licenced and validated. But Microsoft only refer me to Acer. Hello, I have allready cloned the Oracle10.1.0.2 Software with the oracle clone method. At this time i am trying the cloning with the new version 10.2.0.1.0. But it does not work and I get the massages (see-log file): Does some one knows what has been changed with the new version 10.2.??? There is one bug here, the fact that the Ant variable data.dir is not resolved - that's fixed in the upcoming 4.3 release ('real soon now'). The rest is an unsupported use case - you can't untar as root, creating a directory tree owned by root,switch to a non-priveleged user, and then expect the install to write files into directories owned by root - BUT: we made the error message much more clear in 4.3.The case I describe was originally captured in HHQ-3543. Note that the issue is not fixed: as I say above, it will still fail, but in 4.3 you should at least know why.
